This opportunity is with a large, globally recognized organization seeking an experienced technical expert to support mission-critical derivatives trading production environments. The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in maintaining highly available trading systems, improving operational resilience, supporting production incidents, and delivering engineering enhancements across global trading platforms.ResponsibilitiesSupport global front-office derivatives trading production environments.Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve end-to-end trading workflows to maximize system stability and availability.Respond rapidly to production incidents and implement scalable, long-term solutions.Collaborate with traders, developers, infrastructure teams, and technical business users to resolve complex technical issues.Serve as a subject matter expert for trading systems, production support, and operational improvements.Deploy applications using established DevOps and release management best practices.Support exchange connectivity, vendor integrations, and certification activities.Maintain and enhance FIX connectivity, market data distribution platforms, and messaging infrastructure.Troubleshoot TCP, multicast, messaging, and real-time data distribution issues.Support enterprise market data platforms, feed handlers, and consolidated real-time market data services.Improve monitoring, automation, reliability, and operational processes across production environments.Participate in a global on-call rotation supporting critical trading operations.Contribute to engineering backlogs focused on platform modernization, automation, and technical debt reduction.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum of 10 years of front-office application support experience within commodity trading, capital markets, or investment banking.Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting global exchange-traded derivatives environments.Extensive knowledge of global futures exchanges and the complete exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle.Minimum of 8 years of FIX engineering experience.Experience supporting EMS and OMS platforms, including technologies such as TT, NYFIX, Bloomberg, or TradingScreen.Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data providers.Minimum of 8 years supporting enterprise real-time market data distribution platforms, including feed handlers and consolidated feeds.Experience with multicast networking, TCP protocols, messaging systems, and message queue technologies.Minimum of 5 years supporting time-series analytics platforms such as KDB, Shakti, or similar technologies.Strong programming experience with Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL, or comparable languages.Proven experience with exchange and vendor certification activities.Knowledge of algorithmic trading environments, regulatory compliance, audit requirements, and RTS6 is highly desirable.Experience implementing application deployment and operational best practices within DevOps environments.
