Quality Supervisor – Automotive Parts Manufacturer (KID- 36180)

An international automotive parts manufacturing company is actively seeking a Quality Supervisor who has experience in the automotive parts manufacturing setting. Responsibilities of Quality SupervisorManage APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, or any other quality management tools Ensure the company’s production follows IATF 16949 and ISO 14004 compliance or company requirements all timePrepare for scheduled internal / external audits and ensure company is ready for unscheduled audits at all timePerform audits on quality Maintain clean and safe workplace and ensure the team follows company procedure and policiesAnalyze the existing system and implement action plans for quality improvementManage customer’s complaints regarding quality issues and direct team accordinglyCommunicate with customers effectively and handle difficult situationPerform investigations for quality issues and analyze data for improvementEnsure everyone in the company follows safety protocol and report any unsafe environmentCommunicate closely with Production department for aby quality issuesBuild and maintain a professional relationship with team member for effective communicationHire and train new employeesFollow all OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA standards for optimal operations for the facilityPerform all other duties as assigned Qualifications of Quality Manager2-3 years of experience in team management 5-10 years of experience in the automotive parts quality control managementKnowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 complianceKnowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, etcBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience or equivalent experienceStrong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the teamAbility to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environmentExcellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task and perform duties time efficientlyTeam-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivatedProficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
