Job DescriptionOur client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a "Software Systems Engineer - Testing" based out in Tucson, AZJob Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension & FT Conversion)Rate: $50-$60/hr on W2Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401KSummary:We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Testing to support system-level validation and integration activities. This role will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify hardware and software vulnerabilities, develop robust test methodologies, and ensure product performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on testing experience, expertise in data analysis, and a background in regulated environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with systems engineering teams to identify hardware and software vulnerabilitiesDevelop and implement test methods (TMV) and validation strategies using Design of Experiments (DoE)Design and build test beds/test setups for system-level and integration testingExecute hands-on testing protocols and support integration activitiesAnalyze digital sensor outputs and experimental data using Python or similar toolsTroubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on system-level issuesDevelop comprehensive test plans, protocols, and validation strategiesAuthor detailed technical reports and ensure proper documentationManage the defect lifecycle (tracking, documentation, and communication with development teams)Collaborate cross-functionally to improve system performance and reliabilityRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Chemical, Software Engineering, or related field8+ years of experience in systems testing, validation, or integrationStrong experience with:Test Method Development (TMV)Design of Experiments (DoE)Data analysis (Python preferredTest setup / test bench developmentSensor data acquisition and analysisProven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsExperience in developing test plans, protocols, and technical documentationPreferred QualificationsExperience in FDA or FAA regulated environmentsPrior experience in the medical device industryFamiliarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)Experience with system integration and validationIf interested, please send us your updated resume at hr@dawarconsulting.com/kavitha@dawarconsulting.com .Skill SetTesting, Python, Sensors
