In this vital role, you will provide exceptional resident care, administer resident medications, assist with daily activities, and support the clinical team in delivering safe, effective, and personalized care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working in a dynamic healthcare setting.ResponsibilitiesAdminister resident medications per physician's ordersAssist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfortCollaborate with nursing staff to identify patient needs, report changes in condition promptly, and assist with emergency responses in critical situationsMaintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols, practicing proper hand hygiene, and adhering to safety standards for infectious disease care and acute care settingsRequirementsValid RMA license recognized by state licensing authoritiesExperience working with diverse populations including long-term care residents, seniors, or individuals with disabilitiesAbility to perform tasks requiring physical strength such as assisting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility aidsStrong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team memberCommitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with required privacy practicesJoin our team where your compassion meets opportunity! Your dedication will help us deliver outstanding care while advancing your career in a supportive environment that recognizes your skills and commitment.Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
