Site Installation Technician (90% Travel)

If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Site Installation Technician in Dallas, TX.Reporting to the Field Install Supervisor, the Site Installation Technician, is responsible for working in the field to install our pre-fabricated enclosure buildings using an array of tools and equipment.Please Note: This position will require 90% of overnight travel across the United States via company vehicle and/or airplane. Must have valid identification for air travel in accordance with TSA regulations.Shift Schedule (while not travelling): Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMWhat a typical day looks like:Review, analyze, and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawing, procedures, and work instructions to complete assemblies for enclosure buildingsAssemble and install electrical components including panel boards, HVAC units, battery systems, electrical devices, and bending conduitUses various power tools and hand tools (ex. Drills, impacts, screwdrivers, grinders, etc.) to accomplish assigned tasksConduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet specifications and quality standardsIdentify any product defects; record and report them accordinglyMonitor and maintain inventory of necessary product for each jobInterfaces with project management, clients and site personnelMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform all other duties as assignedThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in wiring and installing electrical control/relay panels or mechanical assemblyExperience working with a manufacturing or construction environment preferredOSHA 10 Construction Certification preferred or must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.Current Driver's License and ability to pass an MVR to operate company vehiclesStrong attention to detail and ability to perform work accuratelyKnowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety managementReading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagramsBasic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurementsBasic understanding of tools (ex. Tape measure, impact drill, etc.)Ability to maintain a tactful, orderly working relationship with others.What the physical requirements are:Must be able to traverse all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor and at job sites-SiteFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
