General Functions and Scope:
Primary Responsibilities:
Onboard new hires into the HRIS/Payroll/Time system.
Update employee changes into the system.
Weekly payroll preparation and processing for the company’s multi-state payroll in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policy.
Process garnishments, child support orders, or other mandated deductions.
Act as point of contact for all payroll and time system inquiries.
Monthly payroll ledger account reconciliation.
Monthly commission reconciliation.
Annual worker’s compensation audit reporting.
Ensures timely benefit enrollments, including open enrollment annually.

Benefits
Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations affecting employee benefits and employment, such as ERISA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and ACA.
Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of benefit programs and HR policies.
Act as the primary liaison between benefit providers and employees, handling benefits inquiries and disputes to ensure quick, equitable resolutions.
Facilitate the benefits enrollment process for new hires and during the annual open enrollment period.
Develop, update, and maintain written procedures for benefits processes and compliance activities.
Educate employees on their benefits and any changes to the programs as needed.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with specific attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to discuss timekeeping or payroll issues with employees and managers.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work with a team environment in an open office environment.
Dealership experience a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus.
Two years processing payroll, timekeeping, and managing benefits for RV or automotive dealerships preferred.
Paylocity experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Office environment requiring prolonged sitting/standing and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up-to 15 pounds as necessary.
