Surgery - Vascular Nurse Practitioner

Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or RNFA certified Nurse Practitioner to assume the role of Cardiac Surgery First Assistant (CVOR).Highlights/Qualifications: The successful candidate must have at least2 years of experienceand be proficient in all aspects of first assisting for major cardiac surgical procedures, endoscopic and open vein harvesting, radial artery harvesting, and have experience with a high-volume CT surgery program Full-time, employed position 100% OR Work with an established team of Cardiac Surgeons and First Assist NP/PAs Hospital privileges State of the art heart hospital Ability to work with a nationally recognized cardiothoracic surgery program that performs more than 1,000 pump cases annually Large robotic program If NP, must hold RNFA certification Established NP and PA orientation programs Applicants will be required to have BLS/ACLS from the American Heart Association Compensated call structure Competitive salary, benefits, and relocation The Community:Living in this part of eastern North Carolina offers a blend of Southern charm, a mild climate, and a vibrant mix of cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities.
