STORE MANAGER

You'll lead the team, drive results, and manage daily operations in alignment with company policies and procedures, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for both customers and associates.This position is designed and intended to be performed in Bow, NH.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Facility ManagementMaintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance across the store, warehouse, pole buildings, equipment, vehicles, and grounds to uphold a positive company imageEnsure a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment for customers and team membersOversee and ensure all store and operational equipment is properly maintained and fully operationalSales ManagementOptimize store and grounds layouts to maximize sales floor utilization and customer flowOversee merchandise displays to drive sales performance, accounting for seasonal assortments and customer traffic patternsCoordinate in-store merchandising and displays to align with company advertising and promotional campaignsIncrease store traffic and sales through the execution of company-provided promotions and engaging in-store programsDeliver ongoing sales training and product knowledge development to store associatesMonitor competitor pricing and merchandising strategies to support competitive price positioningEvaluate and test new products to assess market potential and customer demandInventory ManagementOrder products using appropriate forms in accordance with Company policies and proceduresMaintain merchandise by adding or dropping lines or items indicated by turn numbersMaintain inventories at desired levels for maximum turnover and profitabilityDetermine prices and proper margin levels for merchandiseAdjust and maintain prices to conform to price changes by suppliersOversee the handling of claims for damaged or returned goodsAccounting ManagementApprove all invoices for paymentEnsure all goods and services invoiced have been receivedMaintain security over daily cash and bank depositsThe above statements cover what are generally believed to be the principal and essential functions of this job. Specific circumstances may allow or require some people assigned to the job to perform a somewhat different combination of duties.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:Associate's degree with five (5) years of retail experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory role, or a Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceProven track record as a Retail Store Manager with experience leading and directing multiple teams (3-5)Agriculture background with management experience and strong merchandising skills preferredWorking knowledge of lawn and garden, agriculture, and animal care products (pet and livestock)Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams with a positive, results-oriented management approachCommitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a high level of professionalismExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detailAbility to effectively multitask in a fast-paced retail environmentEqual Opportunity Employer
