This role is ideal for a marketing leader who thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment, understands the dynamics of the firearms marketplace, and enjoys collaborating across sales, product, and leadership teams.Position SummaryThe Assistant Marketing Director supports the development and execution of marketing strategies that strengthen Davidson's position as a leading firearms wholesaler and industry partner. This role works closely with the Marketing Director to drive dealer engagement, support sales initiatives, promote programs and promotions, and ensure consistent, compliant brand messaging across all channels. The ideal candidate understands B2B marketing, dealer-centric communications, and the unique dynamics of the firearms industry.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and executing integrated marketing strategies that support Davidson's sales goals, dealer programs, and brand initiatives.Support marketing campaigns across print, digital, email, social media, web, and trade channels with a strong dealer-first focus.Collaborate closely with Sales, Merchandising, and Leadership to align marketing efforts with inventory, promotions, and programs.Help manage and prioritize multiple marketing projects, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced wholesale environment.Analyze campaign performance, dealer engagement metrics, and market trends to optimize future marketing efforts.Oversee development of dealer-facing materials including ads, catalogs, promotions, program collateral, presentations, and sales tools.Ensure brand consistency, tone, and compliance across all marketing communications.Assist with management of marketing vendors, agencies, printers, and media partners.Support planning and execution of trade shows, industry events, promotions, and product launches.Assist with departmental budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting.Serve as a leadership resource to the marketing team and step in for the Marketing Director as needed.Why Davidson'sEstablished industry leader with a strong dealer-focused culture.Collaborative, results-driven team environment.Opportunity to directly impact dealer success and company growth.Competitive compensation and benefits.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.5+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in B2B, wholesale, or a regulated industry.Strong understanding of dealer-driven marketing, promotions, and sales support.Experience with digital marketing platforms, email marketing, CRM systems, and analytics tools.Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.Proven ability to collaborate across departments and support sales-driven initiatives.Preferred ExperienceExperience in the firearms, outdoor, sporting goods, or regulated product industry.Familiarity with trade marketing, dealer programs, and promotional strategy.Experience supporting or managing a marketing team.Knowledge of compliance considerations in marketing communications.Additional InformationLocation: On-site – Greensboro, NC.Job Type: Full-time.Davidson's is a business-casual environment that offers a generous benefits compensation package, including a starting pay commensurate with experience.
