Area Quality Manager

Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university as well as at least 15 years’ related experience and/or training Knowledge of construction practices (i.e., formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.) is preferredQuality assurance-related experience in the nuclear power industry or related complex project environment (DOE/DOD facilities)Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards and NRC regulationsKnowledge and understanding of 10CFR50, App. B, ASME NQA-1 and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, ISO Programs, etc. Knowledge of the general structure of quality assurance programs, improvement processes, and interface with PMOROLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepares, oversees, implements and communicates the quality program requirements and changesSchedules and implements periodic internal audits to review the adequacy of the Company NQA-1 ProgramReviews and approves the Quality Assurance Project Documents (QAPDs)Establishes procedures for training and qualifying Inspectors and AuditorsReviews major project inquiries and generates proposal contentReviews the Customer’s Design Specifications, Purchase Orders and Customer Contract DocumentsQualifies and evaluates supplier quality programs and implementation
