This role focuses on high-value clients, strategic account growth, and mentoring junior sales staff. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the concrete or construction materials industry and a proven track record in B2B sales, relationship management, and territory development.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts.Identify and pursue new business opportunities.Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and customer presentations for complex projects.Work closely with operations, dispatch, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure successful delivery and performance.Provide technical guidance to clients regarding mix designs, specs, site logistics, and best practices.Track and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.Mentor and support junior sales representatives, assisting with deal structuring and customer relationship management.Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and territory planning.Qualifications:5+ years of sales experience in concrete, construction materials, or related industries.Strong knowledge of concrete products, specifications, and application methods.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and close high-value deals.Familiarity with construction project timelines, bid processes, and job site operations.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Existing network of construction professionals within the territory.
