We are currently hiring an Assistant Dispatcher for our Phoenix, AZ branch.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Employee Coordination: Serve as primary point of contact for customers and internal staff, handling calls related to orders, scheduling, dispatch, and job coordination. Scheduling & Dispatch: Generate and manage daily schedules for cranes, trucks, drivers, operators, and labor resources to support efficient operations. Operational Support: Assist Branch/Operations Manager and Sales team with daily activities, including overflow call handling and job logistics. Permits & Compliance: Obtain and manage oversized/overweight transportation permits, FAA filings, routes, and annual permits. Communication Management: Coordinate with customers and sales teams regarding transportation schedules, changes, and job updates. Job Documentation Distribution: Prepare and distribute job tickets, lift plans, schedules, maps, and directions to drivers and operators to ensure job readiness.Required QualificationsExperience: Dispatch experience preferred; equivalent coordination or logistics experience considered. Route & Map Knowledge: Familiarity with maps, highway systems, and Arizona state truck routes. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Operational Awareness: Ability to track crews and equipment to ensure timely job completion and accurate information flow. Schedule: Ability to work 40+ hours per week in a fast-paced environment. Core Competencies: Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly to changing situations.Work EnvironmentPhysical Conditions: Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
