Quality Engineer

Intralox, L.L.C. Quality Department has an opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer in our Harahan location. This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm, M-F. To learn more about our company culture, philosophy, and benefits, please visit our company page.ResponsibilitiesLead and support critical success factors and continuous improvement effortsProvide oversight of root cause and corrective action programMonitor trends from key metrics and drives improvement using quality tools and systemsProvide oversight of technical audit programCoordinate and support the setting and updating of product specificationsManage and improve documentation of processes and proceduresProvide oversight of implementation and maintenance of the quality training programResearch and champion the implementation of new quality technologiesEvaluate opportunities for improvements for the current Quality Management System (QMS)Maintain oversight of data analysisRequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in any field of engineering2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing quality environment or plastics injection moldingUp-to-date professional quality certifications (ASQ, QAI, CSSC, etc.)Proficiency in basic and advanced computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SigmaXL, InfinityQS, etc.)Desired SkillsBasic understanding of the following: quality concepts, quality tools, probability, statistics, engineering processes, and change managementPassion for learning and growth with ability to manage own tasks and meet goals and objectives with little supervisionDemonstration of sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to transfer knowledge well, and simplify complexity when communicating on all levelsStrong analytical and critical problem-solving skillsProven track record of making consistent, logical, and objective decisions using good judgmentAbility to assume good intentions and exhibit trust in workplace relationshipsEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
