Locum Tenens Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Opportunity (ASAP - Ongoing) We are seeking dedicated and experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians or Pediatric Hospitalists for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Charles, MO. Job Details: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (No Call) Shift Schedule: 9-hour shifts, primarily evening/night shifts (4 p.m. - 1 a.m.) Monthly Coverage: 15 shifts per month Practice Setting: Outpatient and inpatient services with no inpatient rounding required Location: Near Charles, MO Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Manage 14-18 patients per shift in a fast-paced pediatric emergency department with 13 rooms and 3 hall beds. Emergency Procedures: Provide trauma care, procedural sedation, airway management, and other emergency procedures. Outpatient Focus: No inpatient rounding required; focus on pediatric emergency and hospitalist care. Collaborative Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care for children in a supportive environment. Requirements: Board Certification: PEM fellowship-trained physicians preferred. Will consider board-certified pediatricians with ED experience (must have trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, and procedural experience). Certifications: PALS required for all providers. ATLS required unless PEM trained. Licensing: Active Missouri medical license required. EMR System: Experience with Epic is preferred. Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 60-90 days.
