Job Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Program Manager with a strong background in Cybersecurity and Network Security to lead enterprise security initiatives for a large organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing firewall, network security, and cyber incident response projects while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity and network security projects.
Manage firewall migration, network segmentation, Zero Trust, and SD-WAN initiatives.
Coordinate cybersecurity incident response and threat intelligence projects.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and executive status reports.
Work closely with security, infrastructure, business, and vendor teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
Facilitate governance meetings and communicate project progress to leadership.
Required Qualifications 10+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience.
8+ years managing Cybersecurity or Network Security projects.
Experience leading firewall migration or network security infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of
Firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, Check Point)
Network Security
Firewall Migration
Zero Trust
Network Segmentation
SD-WAN
Incident Response
SOC Operations
Threat Intelligence
SIEM/SOAR tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, XSOAR, or Phantom
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security projects.
Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, Security+, GIAC, or CCNP Security.
Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOX, NIST 800-53, FAA, and TSA cybersecurity standards.
Preferred Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage executive-level reporting and cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving, risk management, and project execution abilities.
Additional Information Hybrid work schedule (1 week onsite, 1 week remote).
Local Atlanta candidates are strongly preferred.
