We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Glendale, CA. This full-time assignment will provide coverage for maternity leave, offering a great chance to work in a dynamic, supportive outpatient setting. Key Highlights: Location: Near Glendale, CAAssignment Dates: January 1, 2025 April 1, 2025Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PMPractice Setting: Outpatient only no inpatient work or hospital privileges required.Patients Per Shift: Approximately 23 per day. Clinical Requirements: Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology.Certifications: Active California medical license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Skills Required:Low- and high-risk pregnanciesRoutine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal and C-sectionsProcedures like FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and endometrial biopsiesMinor gynecological procedures: IUD placements, colposcopy, and cryosurgeryLaparoscopic and open surgical gynecology Additional Information: Support Team: Includes RNs, MAs, PAs, and office staff to ensure smooth workflow.Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC system in use.No on-call responsibilities.
