Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Lead a team in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks on boilers, motors, pneumatic tools, lathes, extruders and roduction machines.
Utilize progressive troubleshooting techniques and precision measuring instruments to locate sources of problems and ensure efficient maintenance.
Dismantle devices and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; fabricate repair parts as needed.
Demonstrate expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and related technologies.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to maintenance technicians.
Our Team
You'll collaborate with our dedicated Maintenance team and work closely with Operations staff. Reporting to the Operation Manager, you'll have the autonomy to operate independently while contributing to our collective success.
You Should Bring
A history of achieving key performance indicators and project timelines, demonstrated through your leadership in completing preventive maintenance tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

We Need Your Experience to Include
High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree or trade certification required.
Manufacturing experience in a high-volume facility.
Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, DC Drives, and NEC code compliance.
Understanding of Spanish language preferred.
Familiarity with general manufacturing processes and lean methodologies (Kaizen/5S/Six Sigma).
