Oklahoma City, OKKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate cost accounting records and reportsAnalyze standard costs, labor, material, and overhead variancesMonitor inventory transactions and assist with inventory reconciliations and cycle countsSupport month-end and year-end close processes related to inventory and cost accountingReview manufacturing costs and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvementAssist with development and maintenance of standard costing systemsPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesCollaborate with operations, purchasing, and production teams to ensure accurate costing dataParticipate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activitiesEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesAssist with external audits and provide requested documentationDevelop and maintain reports related to production, inventory, and profitability analysisQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required2+ years of accounting or cost accounting experience preferredManufacturing experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of inventory accounting and cost accounting principlesExperience with ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to analyze large data sets and identify trendsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesCompensation$65,000 to $85,000 depending on education and experience.
