Interim Accounting Manager

Interim Accounting Manager (Contract) Location: Moore, OK (Hybrid) Duration: Through October 2026 Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a hands-on Interim Accounting Manager to support a growing organization during a critical transition period. This role will partner closely with the CFO to improve finance operations, stabilize the month-end close process, and support an upcoming NetSuite implementation. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the CFO on finance function improvements and process optimizationSupport the implementation and transition to NetSuiteManage general accounting activities and assist with audit readinessPerform heavy spreadsheet analysis and data reconciliation workHelp stabilize and improve the month-end close process currently operating through Excel and QuickBooksIdentify inefficiencies and recommend practical accounting process improvementsAssist with ad hoc accounting and financial projects as neededQualifications5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management-level responsibilitiesStrong general accounting background with hands-on operational accounting experienceExperience working in environments with manual or Excel-based close processesAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilitiesQuickBooks experience requiredExperience supporting ERP implementations, preferably NetSuite, is highly preferredReal estate industry experience is a plus, but not requiredAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a changing environmentAdditional DetailsHybrid schedule based in Moore, OKOn-site required for approximately the first two weeks, then periodic onsite support as neededImmediate start preferredContract assignment through October 2026 Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
