Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Utilize various kitchen equipment and tools, including knives, safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen setting, preferably in fine dining.
- Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience as a sauté and grill cook, 3 years minimum.
- Experience in making hand tossed pizzas will increase wage.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
