Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. - Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. - Utilize various kitchen equipment and tools, including knives, safely and effectively. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes. - Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed. Requirements - Proven experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen setting, preferably in fine dining. - Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations. - Experience as a sauté and grill cook, 3 years minimum. - Experience in making hand tossed pizzas will increase wage. - Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. - Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
