Excavation Equipment Operator

With a strong reputation for precision, safety, and professionalism, we are expanding and seeking skilled operators to join our field team and increase the breadth of our cumulative skillset.Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Excavation Operator with a background in commercial site work. The ideal candidate will be experienced with operating excavators, skidsteers really anything from small equipment to heavy equipment, and must demonstrate a high level of safety, efficiency, and site awareness.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate excavators and other equipment for trenching, backfilling, grading, and site prepPerform precise excavation around utilities and fuel tank areasRead and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakesEnsure OSHA and environmental compliance during all phases of excavationPerform daily equipment inspections and light maintenanceWork collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and subcontractorsAssist with setting forms, prepping concrete areas, and general site tasks as neededRequirementsMinimum 3 years of excavation experience on commercial jobsProven experience with fuel tank installs, UST/AST systems, or gas station work is a major plusProficient in the safe operation of excavators, skid steers, loaders, and related machineryAbility to read construction drawings and perform to tight tolerancesStrong understanding of soil conditions, shoring, and trench safetyEquipment certifications are encouragedReliable transportation and willingness to travel to regional job sitesWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay (DOE)Overtime opportunitiesSteady year-round workSafety-first cultureCompany-provided PPE and gearGrowth opportunities within a reputable and fast-growing teamPreplacement RequirementsAll Potential Candidates must be willing to submit to the company required background check(s) as applicable and preplacement drug analysis to be considered for hire.BenefitsWe offer comprehensive benefits including a 401K Retirement plan, Healthcare, Dental, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Sick Leave (PSL).Wages$35.00 + per hour depending on experience.Coast Pavement Services/ Pacific Earth Construction, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
