Construction Estimator

Seeking a motivated Construction Estimator to support demolition projects across Southern California. This role is focused on estimating, client interaction, and business development, with an emphasis on generating and winning new work.You will be responsible for building accurate bids, walking job sites, and working directly with clients to secure projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical estimating with strong earning potential.Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & PreconstructionPrepare detailed cost estimates for demolition and abatement projectsConduct site walks and evaluate project scope, access, and conditionsPerform quantity takeoffs and analyze plans, specs, and field requirementsSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricingDevelop competitive bid strategiesPrepare and submit proposals, bids, and supporting documentationTrack bid pipeline and follow up on submissionsSales, Business Development & Client RelationsBuild and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, and property ownersAttend job walks, client meetings, and networking eventsIdentify and pursue new project opportunitiesDevelop new accounts and maintain repeat businessSupport ongoing outreach and relationship-building effortsQualifications2+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in demolition or related tradesStrong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience with takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparationComfortable in a client-facing, sales-oriented roleStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines
