Kubernetes DevOps Engineer

The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes DevOps Engineer for a long term client project. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and a solid understanding of CI/CD practices. You will be responsible for deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, implementing GitOps methodologies, and supporting cloud infrastructure using automation tools and scripting.Role: Kubernetes DevOps EngineerExperience: 6-9 yearsLocation: Phoenix, AZDuration: 12+ Months ContractResponsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on GKE.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitOps tools.Utilize Git platforms (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN) for version control.Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD best practices.Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and ArgoCD.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments using Linux and shell scripting.Preferred Skills:Hands-on experience with GitOps, Kubernetes, Linux, GCP, and GKE.Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.Experience with ArgoCD for continuous delivery.Application development experience using Python, Go, or Java is a plus.Qualifications:6-9 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and container orchestration.Proven experience with GCP and GKE.This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll contribute to cutting-edge cloud solutions.Technologent is an Equal Opportunity Employer -- EEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled -- for reasonable accommodations, please contact us at hr@technologent.com
