Backend API Developer

We are seeking an experienced Backend API Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot, cloud-native architectures, containerization, event-driven systems, and CI/CD practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend microservices.Build scalable, resilient, and secure API-driven applications.Develop event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Kafka.Design and implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.Create and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and optimized queries.Deploy and manage applications in cloud and Kubernetes environments.Implement caching strategies using Redis or Memcached to improve performance.Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Architects in Agile teams.Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and production support.Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and platform observability.Required Experience5-10+ years of backend application development experience.Proven experience building enterprise-grade APIs and microservices.Experience with cloud-native deployments and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability patterns.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
