This senior-level role bridges business strategy and technical execution, providing technical leadership to engineering teams and stakeholders. As a hands-on architect, you will design, develop, and implement automation solutions that drive measurable business value. Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Standards : Develop and maintain the overall strategy, technical roadmap, and architectural standards for automation and observability.Automation Design : Create and implement end-to-end automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.Workflow Development : Build and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and pipelines to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with teams to identify automation opportunities and design solutions aligned with business needs.Technical Leadership : Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and engineering teams on automation best practices.Observability Tools : Utilize Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.Documentation & Reporting : Create and maintain technical documentation, dashboards, and reports to deliver insights on system performance and automation effectiveness.AI/ML Integration : Explore opportunities to leverage AI/ML technologies to enhance automation and observability solutions. Minimum QualificationsEducation : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience : 10+ years in software architecture, solution design, or technical leadership, with proven expertise in automation and observability.Technical Skills : Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.Cloud & Observability : Strong understanding of AWS, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, and automation technologies.Problem-Solving : Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.Continuous Delivery : Familiarity with Harness for CI/CD and deployment. Preferred SkillsAI/ML Expertise : Experience with AI/ML frameworks, machine learning algorithms, NLP, predictive analytics, and prompt engineering.Python Proficiency: Advanced hands-on Python development experience.Cloud-Native Systems : Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.Analytical Thinking : Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.Influence & Leadership : Ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams.CI/CD & Testing : Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation testing frameworks.Security Practices : Understanding of "Shift-left" and "Shift-right" security approaches, including SAST, SCA, secrets detection, RASP, and chaos engineering.
