Phoenix is frequently recognized as one of the best places to reside in the United States, offering more than 300 sunny days annually along with easy access to both ocean and mountain recreational areas.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care ServicesDeliver patient care services within the scope of clinical privileges, which includes but is not limited to:Providing direct care for both inpatient and outpatient settingsOffering subspecialty consultations and follow-up careAdministering diagnostic and therapeutic services/proceduresDelivering urgent and emergent care services as requiredAim to provide exceptional patient and family-centered careContribute to the hospital's patient satisfaction objectives as well as specific division targetsAdhere to divisional standards for patient safety and quality of careUtilize contemporary evidence-based medicine or the latest experiential practicesDivisional ResponsibilitiesSet and work towards achieving annual goals and objectives for physicians (individual, division, and hospital-wide)Support the medical education initiatives within the division, including:Supervising trainees and allied health professionals in delivering inpatient and outpatient services when applicableConducting teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences for traineesEngaging in the education and supervision of trainees and allied health professionals assigned to the divisionParticipating in the division's postgraduate continuing education activitiesEncourage and support the division's research initiatives, including those led by other division membersPromote the programmatic growth of the divisionAssist with satellite initiatives of the division when appropriateAbout UsOur organization is recognized as Arizona's premier children's hospital and serves as a key regional hub throughout the Southwest.
