Design Technologist - Founding Team

Several of our early-stage B2B enterprise startups are looking to bring on a Design Technologist as part of their founding teams. To support the growth of both our enterprise and consumer investments, we’re excited to connect with Design Technologists who are passionate about shaping seamless, end-to-end user experiences.Strong candidates will bring a blend of visual design craft and technical fluency, with experience turning ideas into elegant, functional realities. In this role, you’ll prototype at a high level, contribute to evolving design systems, and ensure every interaction feels intentional and refined. Working alongside designers, engineers, and product teams, you’ll explore new possibilities and deliver experiences that are as beautiful as they are usable. Bonus points if you’ve had experience with brand design or are eager to stretch your skills in new directions.Most of these roles are based in San Francisco, but we are happy to network with great design technologists in New York as well.What You’ll Do: Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes that bring design concepts, interactions, and flows to life.Design Systems: Develop and maintain reusable components to ensure visual and brand consistency across products.Exploration: Experiment with new tools, techniques, and technologies to push our design practice forward.What We’re Looking For: 3+ years in a Product Design role with UX prototyper experience.Strong foundation in visual and interaction design—typography, layout, and hierarchy.Passion for collaboration and clear communication across design and engineering.Nice to HaveExperience shaping digital brand expression across products.
