Software Developer I – Web Front End Developer Position Summary: This role focuses on delivering performant, accessible, and scalable front-end applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in modern front-end development and be passionate about user experience and interface development. Key Responsibilities: Build and enhance web front ends to support business-critical applications and customer-facing portals. Develop accessible, responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript. Integrate with APIs and services to enable dynamic, client-side functionality using frameworks like ReactJS, Angular, Webpack, and Gulp. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, Product Owners, QA) to prototype, test, and deliver solutions aligned with business goals. Create modular, reusable UI components, form controls, and pattern libraries. Perform rigorous code testing, including unit and integration tests. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. Apply SEO and WCAG guidelines to all interfaces and UI components. Use tools such as Git for source control and participate in continuous integration practices. Develop documentation for internal and external developers and stakeholders. Required Experience: 4–6 years working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML. 2–3 years using accessibility standards and tools (ARIA). 1–2 years in ReactJS, Angular, Gulp, Bootstrap, or similar. Working experience with WordPress themes, templates, and PHP is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to translate user stories into technical solutions. Analytical thinker with a user-focused mindset.
