Flight Software Engineer

Delivering complex, mission-critical systems to NASA’s space flight operations continuously and consistently is one example. We are seeking a Flight Software Engineer. In this position you will work with a talented team to develop software for next generation space systems, using software engineering best practices, from requirements to design through development, testing, V&V, and certification. Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Similar Experience with software requirements, design and development Experience developing C/C++ software for safety-critical systems Experience developing unit tests within unit test frameworks (e.g. cppTest, Jenkins) Knowledgeable in software development lifecycle phases with Scrum Agile process Understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD practices, GitLab U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident required Desired Qualifications: Experience developing human-rated space system software Knowledge of safety-critical standards (NASA NPR 7150.2, DO-178C) Experience with Linux or real-time operating systems (RTOS), such as VxWorks Working knowledge of Python, Java 3 to 5 years experience Experience with NASA’s core Flight Software (cFS) framework is a Plus Requisition Number: 202403-01 Please submit your resume via email to hr@tietronix.com
