Elder Enrichment Assistant

Here's What you will be doing:Collaborate with the Elder Services Coordinator on activities/events for FCP Elder tribal members.Assist in keeping all Elders informed of all available activities by preparing and distributing newsletters, flyers, reminder phone calls, elder services brochures.Maintains and/or review records, reports and correspondence related to activities and services provided to FCP Elders.Must be able to transport Elders, drive 15 passenger van in city and rural areas.Must be able to work odd hours, weekends, and out of town overnight outings with extended hours up to 9 days Receive training to transfer clients using accessible vehiclesReceive Food Safe trainingMust be dependable, motivated, have good communication skills, and be able to work independently as well as a team member.Oversees, processes and approves requests for the Tribl Elders' benefits programs (ie. Elders' needs and meet the needs of the elderly community)Follow strict cash handling policies to ensure security, including distributing cash stipends to FCP Elders at designated locations and minimizing risks of loss.Preferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Minimum of one year experience in activities programs geared toward the elderly.Must have a valid, clean driver's license and be at least 18 years of ageMust successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screensMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Operate vehicle with trailer into docking, loading, or job site areas, often requiring proficient backing-up skills.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field and interaction with elderly preferred.CNA certification or experienced preferred.Benefits you'll love:Approximately 5 weeks of paid time off annually3 weeks of paid holidaysPremium free health insuranceFlexible spending accountsShort-term disabilityLife insurance401k with matchEqual Opportunity Employer
