We are committed to providing clients with a single trusted source for their custom millwork and casework needs.Role Description This is a full-time Autocad Drafter role based in Daleville, IN, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-home flexibility. The Autocad Drafter will prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication documents for custom millwork and casework projects, ensuring accuracy and constructability. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating architectural drawings and specifications into precise CAD models, updating drawings based on internal and client feedback, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and shop personnel. The role involves reviewing design details for potential issues, maintaining organized drawing files, and adhering to company drafting standards and project timelines. The drafter will also support project documentation, assist with revisions and as-built drawings, and contribute to process improvements within the drafting team.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Technical Drawing and Drawing, with the ability to produce accurate, detailed CAD documents.Experience creating and revising Shop Drawings for custom millwork, casework, or related fabricated components.Ability to interpret and develop Architectural Drawings and coordinate them with fabrication requirements.Understanding of basic Architecture concepts as they relate to construction detailing and material interfaces.Proficiency in AutoCAD (and/or similar CAD software); familiarity with 3D modeling tools is a plus.High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project managers, designers, shop staff, and vendors.Associate’s degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or a related field.Experience in millwork, casework, woodworking, or construction environments is strongly preferred.Ability to work on-site in Daleville, IN on a regular basis, with flexibility for hybrid work as business needs allow.
