Senior Project Manager - Industrial Construction

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading industrial projects (cold storage, manufacturing, food processing) from preconstruction through closeout, with a focus on design-build and early engagement delivery methods. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The position serves as the primary point of accountability for project performance, client relationships, and team leadership across complex industrial projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead preconstruction efforts including constructability reviews, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with design partners, subcontractors, and vendors.Develop and execute project plans, including staffing, logistics, risk management, and project startup.Manage overall project schedule, monitor milestones, and implement corrective actions as needed.Oversee contract administration, including negotiation, compliance, change management, and dispute resolution.Direct project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin performance.Utilize project management systems to ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and process compliance.Enforce safety standards and ensure adherence to all regulatory and company requirements.Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and supporting repeat business.Lead and mentor project teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional development.Key Performance Indicators:On-time project deliveryFinancial performance and margin achievementSafety complianceClient satisfaction and retentionTeam development and retentionEffective risk and contract managementAdherence to internal processes and reporting standardsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field10+ years of progressive project management experienceExperience managing large, complex industrial construction projectsStrong background in design-build deliveryProven financial management experience on projects exceeding $10MProficiency in scheduling and project management softwareStrong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
