School-Based Physical Therapist - Huntingdon, Pennsylvania

Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A Physical Therapist with school-based experience is needed for a specialized Extended School Year (ESY) contract in Huntingdon County, PA. This per diem role supports students across two nearby school sites within the county, offering an opportunity to provide targeted therapeutic services during the summer session.Key Responsibilities:Deliver physical therapy services to a small caseload of students during the ESY period.Provide sessions according to the specified schedule, including 30-minute and 45-minute sessions, multiple times per week.Collaborate effectively with educational staff to support student progress.Adhere strictly to in-person service delivery requirements and Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) standards.Schedule and Caseload:June 23, 2026, to July 16, 2026 (4 weeks): Serve 4 students with varying session frequencies, including twice per 4 weeks, once weekly for 45 minutes, and once weekly for 30 minutes.June 22, 2026, to August 3, 2026 (6 weeks): Serve 1 student with session details to be determined.Qualifications:Valid Physical Therapist license meeting PDE regulations.Experience working within school settings preferred.Ability to provide in-person services for the duration of the contract.Strong communication and collaboration skills within an educational environment.Location:Huntingdon County, PA, servicing two schools in close proximity (approximately 15-20 minutes apart).This is a contract opportunity ideal for PTs seeking to support students in an educational setting during the summer.
