School-Based Physical Therapist - Lewistown, Pennsylvania

Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A physical therapy opportunity is available to provide support during the Extended School Year (ESY) 2026 period in Huntingdon County, PA. This in-person contract position involves delivering high-quality PT services across two nearby school sites.Location:Huntingdon County, PA (two schools approximately 15-20 minutes apart)Schedule & Caseload:June 23, 2026 July 16, 2026 (4 weeks)Serve 4 students with various session frequencies: two 30-minute sessions over 4 weeks, one 45-minute weekly session, and one 30-minute weekly sessionJune 22, 2026 August 3, 2026 (6 weeks)Serve 1 student (session details to be determined)Position is per diem based on the outlined scheduleKey Responsibilities:Provide direct physical therapy services to students with individualized treatment plansCollaborate with school staff and families to support student progressMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with PDE requirementsAdhere strictly to in-person service deliveryQualifications & Experience:Valid physical therapy licensure meeting Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) standardsExperience working within a school-based setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferredAbility to travel between two school sites within the countyCommitment to delivering compassionate, student-centered care in compliance with school protocolsBenefits & Perks:Opportunity to impact student success during the critical summer ESY periodPer diem scheduling flexibilityEngagement in meaningful, school-based therapeutic workThis is an excellent contract assignment for physical therapists seeking short-term ESY experience in a school setting, located in Lewistown, PA.
