Part-Time Yard Operator

We also provide full-service Warehousing capabilities. Our recently built, state-of-the-art facility enables BCP to customize services for just about any warehousing need our customers might have. We are seeking a qualified Part-Time Yard Operator who possesses a valid class A CDL, has experience with barcode scanning, inventory management systems, cycle counting, and loading and unloading trailers. Qualified applicants must also have experience in safe operation of forklifts and a commitment to accuracy. This is an hourly part-time position, Monday-Friday from 12pm-4pm. The BCP Transportation warehouse is a fast past environment with a ton of various tasks for over 20 customers. Requests and priorities will change frequently throughout the day – applicants should be able to handle this dynamic environment. Role & Responsibilities: Collaborate with supervisors to move trailers from one location to another according to workload Moves trailers from dock to dock as needed to complete the loading process which includes dropping and hooking trailers Ensure the trailer is completely loaded and secure before moving from the dock area Works closely with shop management to ensure any repairs are finished before using the equipment Moves trailers for receiving and outbound when needed Arranges trucks and trailers to keep the yard organized Reports any damage or trailer issues to shop management When yard duties are complete, carries out day to day warehouse processed including forklift operation Complete weekly, monthly, and annual processes as outlined by the warehouse Qualifications: Previous experience working in a warehouse 1 year of forklift operation experience preferred Valid Class A CDL Interested?
