Senior Mechanical Integrity Engineer

Job Purpose and ImpactThe Senior Mechanical Integrity Engineer will be a key leader on the maintenance and reliability management team for the discipline of reliability engineering. In this role, you will work with the reliability team to drive improvement of plant reliability and champion the defect elimination process. You will apply knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company's physical assets and maintenance and reliability processes and strategies and be directly involved in the continued implementation and leadership of a progressive and integrated reliability centered maintenance and equipment reliability improvement process. This position will support some of our largest sites making food products out of corn.Key AccountabilitiesDeploy complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities.Ensure the implementation of the strategic development of asset reliability centered maintenance applications.Perform technical reviews of complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.Execute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.Participate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects.Oversee the specific lubrication program to ensure refinement.Partner with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent experienceProven knowledge in the application of reliability toolsKnowledge in maintenance process managementMinimum of four years of related work experienceAbility to travel up to 10%Preferred QualificationsCertified maintenance reliability professional or similar certificationTraining in predictive maintenance technologiesTraining and knowledge of management of the proactive maintenance modelExperience in production, maintenance, or project managementExperience leading teams OR driving results through teams.Lean Six sigma yellow or green belt certification.Understand the breakdown of equipment.Experience with SAPIDEAL CANDIDATE
