Chickies at American Dream - Full Job DescriptionBeing our Shift Leader requires you to work fast-paced in our high volume restaurant. Shift Leader supports the Manager in Charge for each shift. While the Shift Leader is for Front of House, we expect this individual to be willing to help in all areas of the restaurant.Qualifications:Must be 18 or olderKnowledge of restaurant a plusExcellent communication and verbal skillsWork and lead well in a fast-paced and high-energy environmentKnowledge of and adherence to food safety standardsPossess a high level of integrity and honestyPositive, responsible, accountable, polite, and organizedAbility to multitaskBasic computer and Ipad competencyAble to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects, as neededTeam-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethicCustomer Service-OrientedResponsibilities:Run shifts without any supervisionSupports the senior leadership team by completing any delegated tasksTakes action to solve customer issues or complaints as they ariseExecute proper security and cash handling procedures with teamLeads by example, using our CORE 4 model to serve guests: make eye contact, share a smile, speak enthusiastically and make a connectionCommunicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Senior Leadership TeamMaintains a positive working relationship and treats all reporting employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedbackServes as subject matter expert for all tasks for the specific area the Shift Supervisor overseesAll other duties as assigned
