This role is ideal for a senior accounting professional who enjoys reviewing financial statements, identifying accounting discrepancies, ensuring compliance, and supporting audit-ready financial reporting across multiple client engagements.Key Responsibilities:• Review Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Trial Balances, and General Ledgers• Identify misstatements, classification errors, and accounting discrepancies• Prepare and post adjusting and correcting journal entries• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations• Support audit readiness and financial compliance initiatives• Collaborate with CPA and tax teams• Maintain organized audit documentation and supporting schedules• Provide recommendations to improve accounting controls and processesRequirements:10+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experienceStrong understanding of accrual accounting, debits/credits, and financial statement flowExtensive experience reviewing financial statements and identifying errorsExperience preparing adjusting journal entriesStrong trial balance and reconciliation experience5+ years of QuickBooks experienceAdvanced Excel skillsProfessional English communicationAbility to manage multiple client engagements simultaneouslyPreferred:CPA or equivalent certificationExperience with U.S.-based accounting standardsExperience supporting tax preparation teams
