Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of defined projects or specific workstreams within larger programs. This role involves comprehensive planning, active oversight of project deliverables, and strong stakeholder management to ensure alignment with overall strategic goals. The Project Manager leverages prior experience to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to successful completion within established timelines and scope.Key Responsibilities:Project Execution & ManagementManagement: Manages a project or distinct workstreams within a broader project or program, defining scope and establishing clear objectives.Planning & Monitoring: Develops, implements, and monitors detailed project plans, contributing expertise to major deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.Best Practices: Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences, ensuring project strategies are aligned with the overall department strategy.Communication & Stakeholder ManagementCommunication: Maintains strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders and accurately document project details.Reporting: Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.Relationship Building: Builds and maintains effective relationships, proactively fostering communication between internal and external project stakeholders.Influence: Influences key decisions across diverse stakeholder groups to maintain project momentum and alignment.Follow-Up: Demonstrates the ability to track action items and follow-ups to completion.Risk, Issue, & Quality ControlRisk Mitigation: Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates project risks and any related project issues.Problem Solving: Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.Additional Duties: Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: Minimum of three years of related work experience.Project Management Experience: Two years of managing a project is preferred.Industry Preference: Financial Services or function-specific experience is preferred.Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
