This role partners closely with leadership, drives structured project planning and execution, and serves as a consulting resource for initiatives that require strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.This position has reopened to new candidates. We are seeking candidates with at least five years of experience serving as the primary or sole project manager on complex, high-risk, high-visibility projects with executive sponsors. The project manager must be comfortable facilitating business discussions with senior leaders, helping define project direction when the problem or solution is not fully clear, and guiding stakeholders toward decisions and alignment.Must-Have SkillsBachelor's degreePMP or related project management certification5+ years in project management, quality, or process improvement3+ years managing cross-functional teamsAdvanced knowledge of PMBOK (charters, work plans, budgets, WBS, risk plans)Advanced knowledge of change management principles and organizational dynamicsIntermediate knowledge of BABOKIntermediate knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma or quality improvement methodologiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and influence without authority5+ years of experience as primary or sole project manager on complex, high-risk, high-visibility projects with executive sponsorsKey ResponsibilitiesLead complex projects from intake through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational strategyDefine scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and success criteriaFacilitate stakeholder engagement, gather input, and coordinate cross-functional collaborationDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentationMonitor project health, track risks/issues, and proactively escalate with recommended solutionsProvide clear, consistent communication to sponsors and leadership on progress and outcomesConduct post-project evaluations, lessons learned, and ensure proper documentation archivingFacilitate business discussions with senior leaders and guide stakeholders toward decisions and alignmentPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree7+ years project management, quality, or process improvement experience7+ years business analysis experience3+ years experience in a healthcare or research environmentHealthcare Industry experienceAdditional NotesContract-to-hire opportunityLocal candidates to Philadelphia, PA only (occasional onsite required)
