If you're an experienced engineer who excels in both project leadership and client engagement, this role is for you.What you'll do • Manage civil site development projects for residential, commercial, and industrial clients from concept through constructionPrepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructureLead project teams to deliver design solutions that meet scope, schedule, and quality objectivesCoordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teamsServe as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycleUtilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design development and project executionMonitor project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project deliverySupport proposal preparation and contribute to project planning effortsMentor and guide junior engineers and team membersWhat you bringg • Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license required7+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project managementExperience managing civil site development projects for residential, commercial, and/or industrial clientsStrong understanding of civil site design, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systemsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3DExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing focusStrong leadership abilities with experience guiding project teamsUnderstanding of business metrics for project successProven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflowStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesWhy Thomas & Hutton? • Competitive salary plus performance bonusCondensed work schedule for better work-life balanceTop-tier health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage401(k), generous PTO, holidays, and tuition assistanceThomas & Hutton University and hands-on Civil 3D mentoring to advance your careerSchedule:On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.How to apply:Ready to design the future?
