The ideal candidate will possess strong architectural expertise, hands-on development experience, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.In addition to core Java and cloud expertise, the candidate should have practical experience integrating or developing solutions using Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI frameworks, and intelligent automation capabilities. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver modern, cloud-native solutions that support critical business initiatives within the payments domain.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.Define application architecture, technical standards, and best practices for cloud-native development.Lead the design and implementation of microservices-based applications deployed on AWS.Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external payment platforms.Design and implement secure payment processing solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Build, optimize, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services.Develop and integrate Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications to improve automation, customer experience, and developer productivity.Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI frameworks to build AI-powered solutions such as chatbots, intelligent assistants, document processing, and code generation tools.Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to support continuous delivery.Conduct code reviews, mentor development teams, and ensure adherence to software engineering standards.Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis for complex technical challenges.Collaborate with security teams to implement secure coding practices and cloud security standards.Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and strategic technology planning.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of software development experience using Java technologies.Proven experience designing enterprise application architecture and leading development teams.Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices architecture.Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.Strong understanding of distributed systems, API development, and event-driven architecture.Experience working within payment processing or financial technology environments.Hands-on experience integrating or developing solutions using Generative AI technologies.Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and scalable application design.Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with payment gateways, payment processing platforms, or digital payment ecosystems.Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance and secure payment application development.Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka.Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Knowledge of serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.Experience implementing AI-powered search, document intelligence, or conversational AI solutions.Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings for AI applications.AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Developer Certification.Experience mentoring development teams and providing technical leadership.Droisys is an equal opportunity employer.
