PBG delivers mission‐focused solutions that eliminate inefficiency and power transformation for federal agencies requiring agility, security, and impact.Senior Project Manager (Must be a U.S. Citizen)Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid, with on‐site presence as required by the client)Contract: IT Management and Governance Support Services (ITMGSS) Blanket Order Agreement (BOA), Task Order 1: Business Process Improvement (BPI) Support ServicesClearance/Screening Requirements: Candidates must be US Citizens and able to successfully undergo a background investigation.Position SummaryPBG's McLean, VA office is seeking a hands-on, PMP-certified Project Manager to lead a dedicated Task Order focused on Business Process Improvement (BPI) for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board). This individual will be responsible for the successful execution of multiple Agile workstreams, managing dedicated sprint teams to analyze, document, and redesign the core economic and policy production processes at the Board. The Project Manager will serve as a key leader for the BPI sub‐program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, actionable outputs like process maps, journey maps, and target‐state designs. This role requires deep expertise in Agile methodologies, stakeholder engagement in complex government environments, and the ability to translate business needs into technical and process-oriented solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide end-to-end leadership for the Task Order, overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning through execution and delivery.Lead and mentor dedicated Agile sprint teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Serve as the primary liaison between the project teams and client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project status, risks, and outcomes.Establish and maintain the project management framework for the BPI sub‐program, including all planning, execution, and measurement activities.Drive the BPI sub‐program forward by coordinating multiple workstreams, managing cross‐team dependencies, and navigating the client's complex organizational and governance structures.Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a related field from an accredited institution.A minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex consulting or modernization projects, including business process improvement or transformation initiatives.Demonstrated experience managing multi-workstream projects involving business and technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple teams.Demonstrated ability to orchestrate and communicate the management of technology scope and mitigation of associated risks.Demonstrated experience utilizing program and project management tools, such as JIRA or Microsoft Project, to plan, execute, and measure projects.Demonstrated Agile experience, ensuring that the technical expectations of deliverables are met.Proficiency in at least one (1) Agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and associated tools.Demonstrated skills in delivering excellent presentations, visualization, and report writing to executive and technical audiences.Demonstrated experience managing in complex government organizational structures.Highly Valued QualificationsExperience managing BPI or modernization efforts in economic research, financial services, regulatory, or public‐sector environments.Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Scrum Master).Organizational Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci).Demonstrated experience leading enterprise data, analytics, or technology modernization programs.Experience working with or supporting senior leadership, steering committees, or governance bodies.#WHYPBGWe have successfully built a company culture based on our single most important asset—our employees.
