DevSecOps Engineer

DevSecOps Engineer Pay Rate: $75.00 - $83.55 (based on education and experience). US Citizenship required for export compliance. Senior (Level 4) Develops, documents and maintains standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. Excellent collaborator with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal, including a teamwork mindset, good communication skills, and a desire for fast-paced development. Proficient in version control systems (e.g. Git, GitHub, GitLab). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JUnit, PyTest). Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, ELK Stack). Experience with cloud platforms a plus but not needed (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with artifact repositories (e.g. Nexus, Artifactory). Leads development, documentation and maintenance of standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. Ability to lead and help junior engineers in accomplishing technical engineering activities. Familiar with automated testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g. PyTest) to ensure rapid and efficient test execution is a plus. Willingness to use AI Tools in CI/CD development required, familiarity is a plus but not required. Ability to collaborate effectively with HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) teams to integrate software with hardware-in-the-loop testing environments. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' experience in a software engineering classification or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in a software engineering classification.
