Health Services SupervisorPrimary Purpose: Implement comprehensive program of health services for campus(es) as assigned. Provide health services to students. Promote health education and preventive health practices for students. Supervise medical health professionals and/or health clinic aides as assigned.Qualifications:Education/Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university.Valid registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse ExaminersCertified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screeningCPR/First Aid Healthcare Provider CertificationCPR Instructor CertificationSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of health appraisal to identify student health defectsStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to implement policies and proceduresExperience: Three years nursing experience, preferably in school nursing and/or community healthSalary: Minimum teacher salary $63,810 (teacher salary schedule attached)Work Calendar: 187 Days
