Agentic AI Engineer Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to join their team. As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will be part of the AI Development Department supporting innovative financial technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent collaboration abilities. Location: Phoenix, Arizona Pay Range: 60/hr w2 What's the Job? Design, build, and ship LLM-powered and agentic product features that transform customer financial management experiences. Develop agentic AI systems capable of reasoning over context, invoking tools, executing real actions, and recovering from failures gracefully. Architect and implement production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines over sensitive financial data, ensuring correctness, auditability, and safety. Contribute to shared AI infrastructure, including LLM services, agent orchestration frameworks, and evaluation and monitoring tools that support scalable agentic development. Own the systems you build in production, focusing on reliability, latency, cost efficiency, and failure management. What's Needed? 5+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on experience with LLMs or applied ML systems in production environments. Proven track record of shipping AI-powered or agentic systems relied upon by real users. Strong fundamentals in backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Experience with modern LLM tooling, agentic patterns, and architectures. Excellent ownership, technical judgment, and ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity. What's in it for me?
