POSITION SUMMARY: The mission of the Department of Facilities Managementis to is to create, maintain, and manage a physical environment thatenhances teaching, learning, and living; and serves to support ourcampus constituents and our region through responsible stewardship ofresources. Successful candidates will be staff members that can workwith their colleagues to help meet the mission of the Department ofFacilities Management in serving and supporting our racially andethnically diverse campus community Electrical repairs and PM inside andoutside. Test, repair, install and/or maintain various types ofelectrical equipment. Performs related duties as required. Writes &reviews technical specifications for equipment and project by collegeand outside contractors. This is a full-time, 12 month, AFSCME position.Salary Range \$2,439.63 bi-weekly (Grade 15, Step 6) SCHEDULE: Tuesdaythrough Saturday, 08:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. DAYS OFF: Sunday and MondayLOCATION: Campus Wide Participates in on-call rotation \*This is anessential position. \*Initial assignment only. Subject to changeaccording to institutional needs. KEY RESPONIBILITIES/DUTIES: -Maintains, repairs, installs, and troubleshoots equipment. - Supervisework performed by external vendors/contractors. - May writespecification for and estimate the costs of repairs, remodeling oralterations. - Acts as a liaison to University staff, external personnelvendors and contractors engaged in activities related to building. -Performs related duties such as requisitioning supplies and equipment. -Maintains paper and electronic records and prepares reports. - Submitpersonal time and attendance paper and ensure minimum staffing. -Demonstrates working knowledge of control systems. - Maintains inventorylevels. - Demonstrates working knowledge of electronic work order systemand PM systems. REQUIREMENTS; Must possess a current and validMassachusetts Journeyman or Master\'s Electrician License.
