If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to excellence, this position offers the perfect platform to showcase your expertise and grow professionally.Responsibilities:Draw high-quality blood samples from patients across all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations, ensuring safety and comfortPrepare specimens for laboratory testing accurately and efficiently, following established proceduresVerify patient demographic and identification information, including initialing tubes post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling in the presence of the patientCommunicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining procedures and fostering an atmosphere of trust and confidenceMaintain accurate documentation and thorough records of collections, specimen processing, and patient informationAdhere strictly to all safety protocols, infection control practices, and confidentiality standardsSupport process excellence initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and patient satisfactionAssist in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment at all timesFlexibility to work at various locations as needed, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime schedulesRequired Skills:Minimum of three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collectionsCertified as a phlebotomist (preferred, with certifications such as CPT, ASCP, or equivalent)Strong proficiency in venipuncture techniques and specimen handlingExcellent customer service and communication skills with a focus on patient care and safetyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-volume settingData entry skills and familiarity with electronic health records or laboratory information systemsDemonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detailValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record (if applicable)Nice to Have Skills:Medical assistant or paramedic trainingExperience working in a clinical, hospital, or medical center environmentKnowledge of laboratory and medical terminologyAbility to adapt quickly to changing schedules and prioritiesPreferred Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMedical training or coursework in phlebotomy highly preferredAt least three years of hands-on phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collectionsPrior experience in a patient service center or high-volume clinical settingOther Requirements:Must be able to commute within a 20-25 minute radius of assigned locationsAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shiftsPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform specimen collectionsCommitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and professional environmentTraining in infection control, patient confidentiality, and safety standardsMust list home city and commute time on resume for considerationReliable transportation (personal vehicle preferred; rideshare or public transit is not sufficient for reliability)This is an outstanding opportunity to join a trusted healthcare organization committed to excellence and patient-centered care.
