Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) based in Greater Sacramento. The COTA will work closely with clients, families, and care teams to provide goal-oriented therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include assisting in the delivery of occupational therapy services, supporting program development, conducting patient care sessions, implementing home care strategies, and monitoring progress to ensure positive outcomes. The COTA will also facilitate functional skill-building activities to improve engagement and independence in various environments such as homes, communities, and residential settings. Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Occupational Therapy techniques and practicesSkills in Rehabilitation and Home Care service deliveryExperience providing Patient Care with a compassionate and individualized approachAbility to contribute to Program Development and implement support strategiesStrong communication and collaboration skills for working with families, care teams, and interdisciplinary organizationsCurrent certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Experience with neurodivergent and autistic individuals is preferredDedication to promoting dignity, inclusion, and meaningful participation
