Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Description Job Summary: An Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing and implementing rehabilitative programs to enhance patients' vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills. They work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote independence and improve quality of life. Responsibilities:Evaluate patients' functional capacities and develop individualized treatment plans.Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring or building daily living skills.Supervise assistants and aides, providing clinical guidance and instruction.Conduct home assessments and visits as required to monitor progress and adjust treatments.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and safety standards.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to foster cooperation and confidence. Qualifications:Hold a valid California Occupational Therapist license.Possess current BLS certification issued by AHA or the American Red Cross.Demonstrate at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.Be willing to travel to patient homes and be available for required lab work within 3-5 days of signing.Have a valid driver's license and current car insurance.Maintain compliance with background policies, including disclosure of any DUIs or background hits.
